Alice Faye was the first female crooner of Hollywood and the female equivalent to Bing Crosby, She got nicknamed „The Queen of Fox“ in the 1930s as none of her movies ever lost money. She walked out on Fox when she was only 30 years old and devoted her time to her daughter and her husband – and started a second career in radio.
