Clara Bow

Clara Bow starred in the film “It” in 1927 at the age of 22 as a shopgirl and got catapulted to International stardom. Hence, she became the “It Girl” and basically, she became the sex symbol of the 1920s – the ultimate flapper. Others attributed to this period are Colleen Moore and Louise Brooks – these three cemented the looks and behaviours of a flapper.
